FAQ

Does the product support RAID? Is RAID 0 required to achieve maximum speed?

The Acasis FlowCore series supports software RAID configurations through the operating system, including RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 10, and more.

However, unlike traditional multi-bay storage systems, the TB504 series features a next-generation independent bandwidth architecture. This means each SSD can achieve near-interface maximum performance individually — even without RAID 0.

For example: When four PCIe Gen4 SSDs are installed in the TB504, each drive can independently achieve over 6000+ MB/s read and write speeds.

This design is especially beneficial for:
- AI and LLM workloads
- Large-scale data processing
- 8K video editing
- Multi-task parallel workflows
- High-speed media caching and file transfers

What are the dimensions and weight of each model?

TB504Air
Dimensions: 15.8 × 5.5 × 15.5 cm (6.22 × 2.17 × 6.10 in)
Weight: 1979g (4.36 lbs)

TB504
Dimensions: 19.1 × 5.5 × 15.5 cm (7.52 × 2.17 × 6.10 in)
Weight: 2188g (4.82 lbs)

TB504Pro
Dimensions: 32.8 × 5.5 × 15.5 cm (12.91 × 2.17 × 6.10 in)
Weight: 4181g (9.22 lbs)

Does the product include a cooling fan? How is the thermal performance?

No. The Acasis FlowCore series features a fully fanless aluminum passive cooling design for completely silent operation. The enclosure uses a large deep-fin heatsink structure to efficiently dissipate heat and maintain stable performance during long-duration heavy workloads.

Under an ambient temperature of approximately 25°C (77°F), long-term testing showed:
- Surface temperature around 61.7°C after 3 hours of continuous operation
- Stable around 60°C after 12 hours of continuous operation

*These temperatures are within a normal and safe operating range.
